My favorite Cafe in Silang: Why I love Cafe Dalgona
Nadiscover namin si Café Dalgona sa Silang, Cavite right after the pandemic. From our first visit pa lang, alam na namin na iba siya. Unlike other mainstream cafés na parang chaotic at masikip, dito kahit madaming tao, hindi stressful ang vibes. You can find it sa Km 49, Lalaan 1st, Silang, Cavite (beside Unioil) perfect stopover kung galing kang Tagaytay or exploring Cavite.
Marami na kaming na-try na cafés ng wife ko, pero dito talaga may “something special.” Hindi lang basta café may dating na nakaka-relax at nakaka-inspire.
Cozy Industrial Feels
Yung interior niya may industrial design warm lighting, rustic wood, at cozy atmosphere. Hindi ako architect, pero sakto talaga yung vibe. Spacious din siya, kaya kahit maraming customers, hindi ramdam yung siksikan. Perfect for:

- Work-from-home sessions outside the house
- Kwentuhan with friends
- Or simply recharging after a long week

For us, Café Dalgona is more than just coffee. Madalas dito kami ng wife ko nagbi-brainstorm ng ideas for our online business, nagwo-work, or minsan tahimik lang na nagpapahinga. Para bang hindi kumpleto yung araw namin pag hindi kami nakadaan dito. Isa siya sa mga spot kung saan we can recharge and reconnect.
Para sa Students at Barkada
Kung student ka at naghahanap ng tahimik na place para mag-review, sakto dito. Order ka ng Iced Dalgona Café Latte sobrang sarap niya habang nag-aaral ka. Kung catch-up with friends naman ang hanap mo, highly recommended din. Ang saya mag-chikahan dito habang naaalala niyo yung mga high school at college memories.

☕ Iced Dalgona Café Latte
Ito talaga yung pinaka-favorite namin. The sweetness of the dalgona candy perfectly balances the bitterness of the coffee. Ang sarap ng timpla hindi sobrang tamis, hindi rin sobrang tapang. Bonus tip: you can request na i-separate yung dalgona candy. Sometimes we do this para kainin separately, parang sweet treat habang nagkakape.
🍑 Ashotchu
Medyo bago sa pandinig ng iba, pero isa to sa mga unique drinks na dapat mong i-try. Basically, it’s a combination of peach iced tea and espresso. Weird at first, pero promise refreshing and masarap! According to the staff, this drink originated from Korea (which makes sense kasi Korean ang may-ari ng Café Dalgona). If you’re the adventurous type pagdating sa drinks, highly recommended ito.
🍝 Creamy Carbonara
Hindi ko hinahype, pero legit na sobrang creamy ng carbonara nila. Our 5-year-old daughter loves this too, kaya for me big plus yun kasi picky eater siya. Best enjoyed habang mainit pa at bagong serve.
🍔 Chicken Burger
Malaki. As in sobrang laki. Usually, naghahati na lang kami ng wife ko kasi may kasamang fries pa. Price-wise, medyo on the higher side, pero sulit kasi good for two na siya (depende na lang sa appetite mo). Fun fact: yung uncle ko na American, bago bumalik ng US, nirequest pa ito kasi sobrang nagustuhan niya. Umabot pa sa point na nagpa-Lalamove kami ng order the night before siya umalis!
🍰 Dacquoise
Kung mahilig ka sa dessert, ito ang isa sa mga best partner ng coffee nila. Parang siyang meringue na light and sweet, perfect pang-combo habang umiinom ka ng hot or iced coffee.
🍩 C&C Doughnut
Isa pa sa go-to dessert namin whenever we work from Café Dalgona. May cream filling sa loob, tapos covered with chocolate and topped with cookies & cream. Sweet, indulgent, and bagay na bagay sa kape. Para siyang energy booster namin whenever we spend hours working there.
Service, Staff, and Overall Experience
Isa pa sa dahilan kung bakit balik kami nang balik sa Café Dalgona Silang ay yung sobrang bait at welcoming ng staff. Parang kilala na nga nila kami kasi minsan pag oorder ako, automatic na nilang sasabihin: “Sir Kevin po?” 😅 Ang saya lang ng feeling na ganun ka ka-welcome sa isang café.
Smooth din lagi ang transaction dito. Kahit madami ang customers at orders, mabilis pa rin ang process at reasonable ang waiting time. Walang hassle, kaya mas na-eenjoy mo talaga yung stay.
Parking and Accessibility
Isa pang plus point: sobrang luwag ng parking space nila. Kung magdadala ka ng van or kahit bus, kasya pa rin. Kaya kung may barkada or family outing kayo, walang problema sa parking dito.
Operating Hours
Kung night owl ka o mahilig sa late-night study/work sessions, good news kasi open sila hanggang late:
- Mon–Thu: 8 AM – 11 PM (last orders until 10:45 PM)
- Fri–Sun: 8 AM – 12 midnight (last orders until 11:45 PM)
Perfect timing for both early risers at pang-gabi na tambayan.
Why I Recommend Café Dalgona Silang
Honestly, irerecommend ko talaga itong café hindi lang sa mga kaibigan ko kundi pati sainyo na rin na nagbabasa nito. Maybe I’m a bit biased kasi naging special place na siya for us, pero I promise, give it a try. Hindi siya yung typical na kapihan na laging siksikan at maingay. Instead, it’s a place where you can really enjoy conversations kasama ang partner mo, barkada, officemates, or kahit classmates.
I’ve been into coffee since 2018. May sarili akong coffee machine sa bahay and I love doing research about coffee. Isa sa mga pinaka-inaabangan kong panoorin is James Hoffmann, one of the well-respected voices in the coffee world. Kaya masasabi ko na medyo picky rin ako pagdating sa kape.
At dito sa Café Dalgona, kitang-kita mo yung passion nila. They roast their own coffee beans freshly roasted talaga. And if you know coffee, alam mo na yan yung isa sa pinakamalaking indicator ng quality. A café that roasts its own beans almost always guarantees na maganda ang lasa ng kape nila.
For me, that alone makes Café Dalgona stand out. Pair that with their warm service, spacious ambiance, and unique drinks, and you’ll understand why this café feels so special.
So kung naghahanap ka ng lugar na hindi lang basta café, kundi isang space where you can slow down, recharge, and enjoy good coffee with good company Café Dalgona Silang is definitely worth the visit.
